MOR "Hunt of a Lifetime" Huge Success!
High fives were flowing from start to finish last week during the MOR "Win the Hunt of a Lifetime" contest at the Recordbuck Ranch in Utopia, Texas. Contest winner, Brandon Hebert of Rodger, Texas joined the Wild Outdoor Adventures Television Team on an exotic hunt and went home with two great animals. Show Host Cliff Tulpa and WOA TV Marketing Director Bill Rivas had the pleasure of hunting with Brandon as he harvested a world class Texas Dall and a trophy Wild Boar. Brandon was selected as the lucky hunter from thousands of MOR viewers who had entered the contest promotion earlier this year.
In addition to Brandon's success, Bill Rivas also harvested a huge tusker Wild Boar, a great Aoudad and a trophy class Black Buck. Not to be out done, Cliff Tulpa is headed to his taxidermist with a beautiful Axis Deer and a really nice trophy Wild Boar. Even WOA Co-Host Kyla Schuehle and Camera Gal Celeste Casas got in on the action as they each harvested a trophy class Corsican Ram during the hunt.
"Recordbuck Ranch is an absolutely spectacular place to hunt. It offers more of a diversity of quality game than anywhere I have ever hunted in Texas", proclaimed Show Host, Cliff Tulpa. "Jim Fejes, General Manager of the RecordBuck Ranch, has done a fantastic job in trophy managing the various species of game. The guides we had were outstanding, our accommodations were excellent and the Southwestern meals we enjoyed during our stay were superb to say the very least".
Bill also mentioned, "After talking with both Cody Prather and Celeste Casas of the WOA TV camera team, they informed me that collectively they have filmed enough quality video to produced two action packed shows of the contest". The Recordbuck shows are scheduled for broadcast in January 2008. Bill continued by saying, " I really want to thank Jim Fejes and his entire staff from the Recordbuck Ranch for showing us Texas hospitality at its finest. I would also like to thank the good folks from The MOR Network for their efforts in putting together this great event". "We are already discussing plans for another contest for 2008". Did someone mention Alaska?
The Texas "Win a Hunt of a Lifetime" contest was created in conjunction with Wild Outdoor Adventure Television and The MOR Network as a internet sign up promotion designed to provide The MOR Network with valuable information regarding it's viewers. "We believe it is very important for us, as well as our show producers to know what type of programming content our viewing audience is really interested in. The data that we derived from this promotion is an important source of information for MOR to utilize if we are to continue to be the leader within outdoor television", explained Joel Spicola, National Director of Sales for The MOR Network.
Congratulations again to Mr. Brandon Hebert, the 2007 MOR "Hunt of a Lifetime" Winner. We found him to be a great addition to the sport of hunting!
